For a bet please could as many of you as possible please confirm that an intercooler on a standard UK Impreza Turbo resides under the scoop.

Extra points if anyone can confirm that the scoop on the rally car is for aesthetic purposes only as the intercooler is front mounted.

Additionally do you get turbo's without intercoolers?

Yes - AFAIK all turbo Impreza's from the factory have intercoolers mounted on the engine.

Yes - same as the US 2.5RS, just cosmetic.

I challenge! The WRC uses the scoop as part of the induction setup IIRC, so not just aesthetic.
