Default Does any1 on here work in a body shop? Help needed.

Hi guys im looking at a project car and was wondering what an expert thought of this rear ender!

It looks repairable to me, what are the door gaps like? and is the roof creased?thumb:

if you are willing to do that much work on a car, why buy a smashed scoob when you can get them in decent condtion for peanuts now anyway?????

I think he wants it as a project, im looking for a damaged one to do up over winter...

As above "project" + an RB5 like this would be around 8k ! Can get a lorry load of pea nuts for that! ! !

Id always choose to repair a rear-damaged car. Most of them crash going forwards of course!

Very true.... and with no front end damage, chances are car was pushed which in some cases will minimise chassis damage...

Just wanted to no a rough cost of the body shop repair as the car aint cheap ! !

Back 1/4 panel, back panel, bumper, boot lid, to get it done cheapish would be about a £1000.

IMO, no such thing as "cheapish" in Subaru repairs.
I would expect in the region of 2k for that by the time it has been jigged,panels replaced,sprayed,light,suspension alignment (providing the rear subframe is not twisted) and what about the spoiler that is missing ?
