how much should one pay for one of these from a dealer with 30 to 40 k on the clock (miles) or how much private? in silver or blue...

Didnt even know they did Red

Expect to pay between £13,000 - £14,500

Dealer £14,000 - £16,000

13k -14k is about right with that mileage.

would also go for WR Blue from a resale point of view. Silver would be harder to shift come the time you want to sell.

I'm thinking about selling my 03 STi if it's gonna go to the right home.

Had a few things done to it so it's not your bog standard model. Apart from the alloys it's the same to look at, got rid of the gold and swapped them for the 03 WRX ones. Then did a few things to the engine so he kicks out 320bhp now.

Let me know if you are keen

saw a nice 03 STI PPP with 35k on the clock at a main dealer today for £14995
