P1 light covers and WR spec
Guys,
hope you can help please. Thinking of getting a P1. Do they all come with fog light in the front as some I have seen have a plastic P1 cover over the front?
Also, is it true they did a WR option spec with Prodrive brakes and 18 inch alloys with 225 wide tyres.
Need to know the ins and outs before I go hunting

All have driving lights in the front bumper and you can either fit the 'surrounds' or the 'covers' providing they are both supplied with the car.
Lots of information at P1 Web Owners Club :: Warning, may contain nuts! but the key optional extras when bought new were 18" wheels (17" were standard), Prodrive / Alcon brake upgrade (4-pots were standard), P1 stamped backbox (Sti standard), HID headlamps and leather Recaro's (rare as rocking horse ****!!) ... best to look out for a car with 18's and brake upgrade as these are expensive to retro-fit and were the most popular upgrades!
WR spec I understand was a bit of a magazine thing, not an official model.
Hope that helps.

No, it wasn't.
It wasn't a model in its own right - there were just the optional extras mentioned available and some people have been calling cars equipped with these extras a different model.
The big brakes are the only really necessary mod, IMHO , everthing else falls into the nice to have but not vital category, even the 18s
