I read the press releases on subaru site about the MY01 ppp, which quote the improved torque figures and power figures and so on.

But does anyone have any information (not speculation) on what things like 0-60 time, top speed, 0-100 time etc. would be for PPP on the MY01?

From all the reviews the PPP conversion returns the new shape Scooby to the old std Turbo figures. Bummer ehhh.

Although the stiffer chassis makes it just as quick in real terms,............ apparantly.

My MY98 was never as much fun as my PPP Wagon. 3 days in Wales have convinced me.

Figures are quoted in Evo magazine for the PPP'd UK 300. Still down on old MY00 slightly in 0-60 0-100 according to their stats.

Depends whose figures we prefer!

0-60

Standard Car:
Autocar: 5.7 Evo: 6.0!!

PPP'd Car:
Evo: 5.8 Car Magazine: 5.4 Autocar: 5.2 (est)

Many mags seem to be stating just the standard 5.9 for UK300's that have been ppp'd...probably easier to do this than test it.

MY01 with PPP "appears" to be similar to standard MY00 Turbo for 0-60 times.

I can't remember all the 0-100 figures, other than Evo saying it was 18s while autocar 16.? for the standard car.

MY01 with PPP improves on these figures but probably still down on MY00 Turbo

I would love to see some Prodrive timings for the PPP.

In one of the jap car mags a group of scoobys did 0-60 times - inc Craig and Pete Croney (who's car is designed for outright handling - OK!!! ). One of the cars was a PPP'd UK300 and i think it got just under 5.3 secs!!!

Its not really about the 0-60 times tho - the extra grunt and drivability far outweigh the costs involved!

Oh - and anyone who claims in their wisdom that a PPP'd MY01 is about a match for a standard MY0~ is talking absolute b****x!!! If your thinking of getting one - DO IT!!

I also read that article in Banzai and I seem to remember that the UK300 also had a Scoobysport de-cat system.
