Default slipping clutch or maybe not

need some advice, been deiving my98 uk turbo around and some times i feel the clutch slipping and then sometimes it is perfect, but now it starts to slip after 3000 revs. do i need to replace the clutch or is it something else

Clutch, happened to me a few weeks ago,

Go and speak to David at API, awesome clutchs and good value for money ! !
plus it would probably cost you more to put a standard clutch back in from subaru than it would for the performance clutch from API !

What he said!!!

Slipping clutch is usually a sign it's on its way out, it's happening at a point in the rev range where the turbo is starting to get interested too, so not a good sign I'm afraid.

get your car to 3000rpm in 5th gear and floor it, if your revs fly up, then your clutch is knackered, so you'd better get looking for a new one

i just put new clutch in my 94 jap import a clinton+hazel make suits imprezas up to 350bhp parts+labour £400 local side street garage cvc cardiff wanted £800 for a standard subaru clutch plus labour they told me you will probably need a flywheel as well ,nothing wronge with my wheel
