Default 225 18's on a classic

What would i need to do to my classic to be able to run 225/40/18's without them causing problems eg. rubbing on full lock?
Am i right in thinking coilovers for a start and maybe needing spacers?
Running 205/45/17's at the mo and they look to skinny.
Taylor.

Tay . If u want to be exta sure of no rubbing problems then you could run 215/35/18 . I run these on mine with no probs at all.

225/35/18 is the correct size of tyres for 18s on a classic. But I'm sure 225/40 will be ok.
