Default Pre-registered STi's

Hello all,

Have seen a few 2005 pre-registered Impreza STi's at some dealers with delivery miles.

Presumably they have been sitting around a bit, but do look good value. I have two questions:

1. Are there any issues with these cars that I should know about?
2. They all seem to be silver. Fine by me, but is silver the worst colour come resale?

Many thanks for your help.

Nowt wrong with silver STi's my old china

(I presume you mean 05's that is?)

A few cases of clonking rear suspension I think,a well known problem moreso with 03 models tho

..regardless of colour I think they are all pita to shift at re-sale time, for a half-decent price anyway

I like your wheels. Are they the standard wheels painted grey?

there's still a few of these kicking around?! can't see them being much more than 20k and that's a bargain no issues that you need to worry about and silver will be as hard/easy to shift as the other colours.

go for it

going for round about the £20k mark. Would have to be worth £10 - £12k in 2 years time to a dealer.

picked up one of these in march this year myself.zero miles and first reg'ed in my name....best car ever and love it to bits.i was worried about crystal grey when buying but it does grow on you and everyone seems to agree it does make a nice change from the ever popular blue.....and what the heck, there's no new car for 20 g's that does'nt lose money.

If you can get one for 20k its already lost around 7K so depreciation shouldn't be that bad compared to others who have paid full list or nearly list.
