was gonna say can take it to a place of your choice (may be asked to get a couple of quotes from toher places just to make sure there not trying it on) try Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists, top place and being in chesterfield not to far, they can also arrange truck to pick it up if its to badly damaged to drive

Yes you can take it where you wish if the third parties insurance will be paying but you may have to pay for the repair yourself and claim it back from the insurers. Approved repairers invoice the insurance company directly but other repairers bill the owner of the car which is you and the insurance company then send you a nice fat cheque to cover your losses.
