Hi some advice needed
Hi everyone another newbie
i was looking at buying a type r but have now just bought today a 95 wrx import got it at a very cheap price engine and gear box seems good
with the money ive saved for not going for a type r £6.5k i was wanting some ideas on what to go for performance wise?
i have had other scoobys but never really got into tuneing them etc
any help id be grateful
p.s i was going to put the car to andy forrest does he only do mapping?

Andy can certainly give you some sound advice and may even be able to supply some of the parts that you require.
Exhaust; filter; ecu to remap etc
It depends where you want to go (power wise) and what your budget is.
Don't overlook braking and a good suspension set up!

the car has the following
hks suspension
blitz nur spec straight through exhaust sounds mental
it has got uprated brakes not sure of make
roll cage
boost gauge
the rest is standard as far as i know
id be looking for something pretty big bhp got around £6.5k to spend

Be sure of your braking ability and suspension, and then go for the power. Whiteline suspension goodies are very reasonably priced and AFAIK are good components.
4pot brakes I would say as a minimum, but IIRC you can get a Tarox 10 pot kit for about a grand.
For 6.5K you should get a lot done, including a bit of a power raise.
