Paint code help

Default Paint code help

Hi
i have a 1996 sti white, on the code it says 230 BUT there are 3 x 230

1 x white
1 x white with a touch of light green
1 x white with a touch of dark green

the guy mixing the paint says it is very slight and will onlt tint the white slight, but wot do i choose . i coud try all 3 but that means painting the pannel 3 x times, any help would be good.

They should have samples of each shade on a plastic film that you can take and match to your cars existing colour. I had the same problem when getting my front bumber sprayed in wrb. There were two shades of blue that were fractionaly different. I took the samples outside and could easily tell the difference when matched to the car. Hope this helps mate.

It wont help. He already knows the paint code! As ultraviolate has said; they 9the paint suppliers) should give you a chip for each shade to allow you to pick. Subaru usually only has one or two shades; larger manufacturers have been known to have scores of variations on one paint code.....
