Default What are Shell doing wrong?

For the second time in three years my nearest Shell garage has changed into a BP one. It is now a 30 mile round trip to my nearest V-power pump which means of course that I won't bother.

I also have a fuel map tweak due and don't know what to put in the tank for this. Advice please on whether I do an 18 mile round trip to get Tesco 99 (but I could offset the cost by doing my groceries at the same time) or Esso 97 RON at only 3 mile trip or V-power the remap and just accept it will only be running on the right stuff once every ten tanks or so.

Shell charge too much for their fuel!
I use Tesco 99 ron, 88.9p/ltr from my local one near Hunsbury.

Up here the Shell garages are the cheapest. BP are usually a good 4p per litre more expensive!

Same around here all BP instead of Shell.

Spoke to the local Manager (he loves me cos of the ammount I spend on Optimax with him) who says, Shell were becomming immpossible to deal with.

Credit terms on fuel always changing, virtually paying for it before he got it.

Staff not nice to deal with and, his agreement was up for change and the BP Man made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

It seems as though Shell atre not interested??

I travel a 30 mile round trip to ensure the car only gets V-power.The annoying thing is that less than 200 metres from my house there's a Shell garage, but it doesn't sell V-power

Our local Shell garage has closed too Now a Jet garage.

I'd go with Tesco if there's one near by, ours doesn't do their special fuel though so I have to travel a bit further to the other Shell garage in Hemsworth.
