Bought an impreza off ebay and has(so far, waiting for owner to find invoices) an unprovable sevice history. Wondered if any helpful fellow scoobynet member coulsd call in and give it the once over(listen to it start from cold, check disk/pad state, gearbox, suspension, etc)
Car is located @ ig10 2eu near debden tube in essex.

Eeerrrr forgot to mention, I live 300 mile away that is why it is difficult for me to verify it myself(long way to go with the cash and walk away if it is a lemon)

Not this again! Never buy a car on Ebay unless you are fully happy with the facts that have been presented, not promised. I'd imagine the seller will not be best pleased when someone comes calling to inspect the car seeing as they had ample opportunity to do so before the auction ended.

That saying, the deed has been done, you'll either be very lucky and someone will put themselves in this position to look at the car or you'll have to come down yourself. Personally, I would not buy a car unless it had a fully documented history. If on Ebay I'd expect to see a full and comprehensive display of pics including the service history and I'd want a long list of questions asked.
