who actually picks up the bill for the free servicing offer?
the dealer or subaru uk/IM?
only asking as my car was serviced in house by the garage who sold it to the previous owner so in theory there's still a free service to be claimed?
only after the subaru stamp in the service book to be honest, but wouldn't mind knowing all the facts before i put it across to my dealer.

so assuming Subaru pick up all costs (guess the labour is recouped aswell?) the servicing department shouldn't really care one way or the other?
i'm expecting them to say it's overdue so they won't do it, but worth a go.

The free servicing is claimed back from I.M in the same way as a warranty repair, but there is a time/mileage clause on the service, i think its 1 month or 500 miles but please check with the dealer to be sure.
For example you could not claim a free 2 year service on a vehicle that is 2 years and 3 months old. Hope this helps.
