A lot of import companies will do that sort of thing, but we have a Honda import in km/h, but for authenticity reasons I was going to leave it as is.

I am not 100% on this, but I think the year of the car makes a difference with regards as to whether you need a converter or not - Also, different converters for different years (electronic and non electronic odes) Converters are about £60 odd - and will mean that your KMH speedo now reads in MPH.

Others will have far more experience and knowledgable information that I.

The speedo is on the checklist on the ESVA, which means to conform it would have had to have been converted from kmh to mph.

Cars over 10 yrs don't need to be SVA'd tho.

I'll ask the garage i'm getting my import from how they have changed mine and i'll let you kno,. altho the convertors seem to work fine as that is how my mate TT Supra Import was changed, basiclly when his speedo says 20 KPH it actually means 20 MPH etc etc.

^^ that would be great if you could find out, my gauges have the KPH to MPH converter but I would rather have reading doing 30 in KPH is 30 in MPH as above

Thanks

They do need to pass an MOT though, that includes rear fog light etc
