Default Scoob MPG

Could you guys please post up the model of your car and the sort of MPG that you get as I never trust the 'offical' figures u read about.

Thanks

MY05 STi

Hard driving = 16MPG
Chilled driving / Long Journey's = 30MPG

Fuel = V-Power (which i seem to get better MPG out of)

Ah that don't sound to bad, main reason for getting a scooby is fuel, if not a scooby then I would have ended up with an RX7 or a 300ZX which are 18mpg at best, 10-12 with your toe init.

Mate of mine travels 10 miles each way to work same as I do and was going through £15 a day in hi JDM TT Supra, and that was driving it nicely, and i mean nicely.

Ye, i only work about 3 miles from where i work... and on this run every morning/evening i very rarely get better than 20ish MPG. (and im very careful on the car during these trips because im very aware it pretty much doesnt warm up enough to give it some stick)

20-30mpg (probably average about 26-27) from MY95 WRX (with a few mods), pretty economical for this type of car. If you can resist the urge of pressing the loud pedal, you'd probably get more..... But I can't.

I'm sure you'll find thousands of posts containing this info if you search; it comes up more than a certain vehicle in a large body of water...

i get about 200-240 miles per tank on a classic wrx import(226bhp at the wheels running 1.1 bar) depending on how i drive it, on tesco's 99, this drops to about 180 on vpower or an abismal 170 on BP ultimate

My MY04 WRX usually gets thirsty between 260 and 290 (sometimes depending on whats on the stereo !). I found I got another 30-40 miles per tank when I switched to Shell Optimax / V-Power. I was originally using the crap that Asda sweep off the floor of dodgy tankers. I gave myself a severe talking to and I now see the error of my ways.

Too true!

But to the OP: MY05 WRX PPP, Tesco 99 RON (but now back to Shell V-Power): ca. 25 round town; less on a blast; 33ish on the motorway; best ever (really trying) 37. Average on a run with some dual carriageway/motorway, some round town, some fast twisties and some normal A road: probably a bit over 30, but it depends a lot on how long the twisties last and how heavy I am with my right foot round roundabouts, etc.

my03 sti

13-18mpg depends on how heavy my right foot is
29mpg going steady

Have noticed an increase in mpg since the swap from optimax to v-power getting about 40 miles more to a tank

MY01 WRX PPP

Hard driving - 9mpg
Day to day (fast urban) - 23 mpg
Motorway - 28 mpg

Optimax never agreed with my car (lumpy when cold and slight hesitations) BTW use normal super instead...

Simple. Fill it up, use half a tank or thereabouts: re-fill and then divide the miles travelled by the gallons used. Bob's yer uncle.
