Hello everyone
first of all i would like to say subaru's is all new stuff to me.. this is why im asking such Q's for those who live on ere might think what a muppit he dont even know the answer to this simple Q's
Ive just got a impreza 2000 on a R plate and dont really know to much about the car... meaning if its a classic or any old 2000 turbo.
First for u all. i know a mate whos got a HKS Dump Valve AKA (HKS Super SQV Dump Blow Off Valve BOV SSQV) but i would like to know if its gona fit onto my R plate 2000 model. Part number: 1421-SF005
I would like to get quickshift installed onto my car can it be done on my model ? if so where can i find the goods from and hw much till it be
Also i would like to get hold of a Induction kit for it aswell, but was advised to get the HSK one which is much better but where are so many different types in the market and do i need to look out for and how do i know if its the right one for my car !!! HELP !
If anyone does know any sites for anything which could make me understand more about my car in the sence of the spec and what good's i can buy for my scooby it would really help me out.

The shape you have is a classic shape, and is a turbo 2000, they are one and the same ( althought you get different classics like STI and WRX etc.. )
Not sure if the DV will fit, but they are generally not recommened becasue of the MAF sensor, they upset it and cause the car to run rich on over run, causing damamge to the cat and borewash etc...
There is probably a prodrive optional quckshift, there is for most ages of impreza.
The IK is again an area that is in dispute between different owners, they can cause the car to run too lean without a remap, and also cause excess vibrations that will damage the airflow sensor.
hope thats of some small help matey

Put it bluntly, induction kit, especially the **** poor filtering HKS is a
Standard airbox with a good panel filter is well advocated amongst owners.
Dump valve, nowt wrong with the standard recirc.
Quickshift try a B&M one.
MY00 is the last of the classics with the fragile MAF.

IK= Induction Kit.
MAF= Mass Airflow Meter, on MY99/00 cars they are notoriously fragile.
They measure the amount of air entering and adjust fueling, found just after the airbox located in the induction tube.
Try any of these specialists for parts or ebay.
