A motorsport and automotive design consultancy has opened the doors to its newest high security base near coventry which could create dozens of jobs.Yes its Prodrives new design hub and test track at Fen End near Balsall Common in the west Midlands, Test drivers were demonstrating the capabilities of the P1 on the 2.5 mile test track and skid pan. The Banbury based company moved the division to the site in September and is now the base for 100 engineers designers and technical staff. Peter Stevens head of design and styling will operate from the new design studio. Prodrives site includes the test track, low friction surfaces for testing braking and traction control systems and high speed straights curves and banked bends for proving its performance road cars.
