Can anyone out there offer advice as to the best method/ products to use to clean and protect the engine and engine bay. I have been advised to use Waxoyl but as much as this may keep the engine bay free from corrosion, it will also attract bucket loads of dirt. </img>

I use an Autoglymm product which is designed especially for cleaning the engine bay and it is the nuts. You can also buy a special AutoGlymm bruch for those stubborn stains

My engine bay is protected by waxoyl and yes dirst does stick to it and the Autoglymm does remove it, sorry I can't help you there.
