TSL Firestorm

TSL Firestorm
Evening chaps, just got back off my weekend away on the east coast in Filey.
Saw a 53 plate Impreza WRX, he had a big fat exhaust fitted that sounded lovely but i never got the chance to ask him what it was.
It was lovely and deep, and im thinking it was either a Firestorm or something similar. It had a big exit to it ( 5" ) and the rear can must have been at least 6" wide.
Anyone got one of these and can recommend them? Ive just checked the price of one and they are cheaper than i thought they would be.
Im also presuming they are a bit of a pain on long motorway journeys, or are they not that bad?
Thanks
Adam

Hi Adam
My Firestorm did my chuffing head in.
Was on my Classic with full decat which made things a little louder. Only lasted six months and as you say long journeys are a nightmare. Neighbours and car alarms will also be annoyed.
If you like loud this is the one for you.

everyone to there opinions - if we all liked the same thing the world would be a dull place,
I have said firestorm system - full decat
I love it wanted a deep note and i love it on over run pops and bangs with the occasional flame too :-)
i personally dont think its too noisey
60-70 MPH in 5th is actually quiet but put foot to the floor and she howls liek a banshee

firestorms are brilliant exhausts - sourced from tsl in Nottingham.
they are one of the loudest you can get and mine was fully supplied and fitted for under £300.
they tend to make your car anti social though - I love the noise and would never fit another exhaust, but my wife hates it with a vengence.
both my p1s and type r have had firestorms and they make scooby driving even more enjoyable.
drowns out the blitz nur specs as well
