Default Is It Worth Decatting My Sti 7

Hello all,

i am thinking of decatting my jdm sti 7 but have some reservations. non of them mot related thats not the issue if you know what i mean!!!!!!!!!

do the gains outweight the potential bad points

the issues i am worried are
the engine light coming on all the time.
boost spiking and other related stuff.

Is it really worth it or should i go with a cat back system.

Cheers Andy.....

I wouldn't replace the downpipe cat unless i was planning to do a remap. You will generally get the CEL error and not utilise the full potential without one anyway.

But it's another £600 to factor in.
