the car im getting is a version 6 wrx sti its a w reg and done 41k , says its got a 1 off kit on it (but its not)light weight gold wheels and over 320 bhp , now im selling my car for 10k and he wants to do a swap should i do it or will i be looking out as the car isnt worth that much?

10k for a 99/2000 sti sound very hi imho its got fairly low miles on it for a 6 year old car but all depends on how the car has been run etc has is got service history. what mods have been done? has it been remapped? if so by who? all questions i would want answering. best advice i can give is shop around and don't just buy the first thing you see.

no prob chap just need to be a bit carefull as there are alot of s**t heeps out there but as you say it can never hurt to have a butchers. sti's run 280bhp as standard so by the sounds of it it's prob had a new decat exhaust, induction kit and remapp maybe a light flywheel if your lucky.

maybe try and find a number for the place he got it from and give them a bell. see what they can tell you about the car.
