hi..just wondering if anyone knows how much my old impreza engine is worth?1995 40k miles, one piston has popped..it still runs but misses on the cylinder thats down..? cheers
i also have 2 TD05 turbos spare that are perfect working order..what are these worth? thanx

 

The engine is worth virtualy f*ck-all (now if it was an STI V3 engine thatd be different!). If the TD05s are in genuinely good condition then you might see £100 each for them; if they have any play then theyre relatively worthless too.

i think i will try ebay,
the turbos havent got any play at all.
i saw a impreza engine go for £400 on ebay and the cambelt had snapped surely mine as less damage than that

You won't get that for your engine mate. I just gave my old one away that had melted a piston. An engine that has snapped a cambelt would actually have less damage i would expect. You can get replacement heads for very little money and so that is a real easy repair job )top end rebuild rather than complete rebuild.

I would expect to get more for the turbos though. It seems that the fair going rate for one in good condition is around the 150 mark. I just bought another one for 170 but it is absolutly mint and only done 4k miles!
