The pink badges were fitted to JDM cars and signified that they had STi input, IIRC.

So my RA with a genuine pink badge mean's STI fettling.....

Pity I've taken all of the STI decals off, just the fog covers to go....

All depends really. If under the bonnet you have tell tale sti signs a corresponding engine code and a different ecu, different suspension.........and some other bits
You may well have an sti!
Other than someone has made it look like something it isnt.

not hijacking the thread, ive got a genuine pink badge on my car, but had a look at the transmission code and it points to a 240ps engine... vin numbers no good... says its a gc3 lol. probable different shell.

car did once have rather large sti graphics on the side though, in certain light and angles you can see thin score marks on the rear doors. plus there used to be a bagde of some type on the n/s dash area near the glove box, also left with a score mark.

ah well, i just drive her, and she goes like stink in my mind...
