Can you really tell what it looks like ... it's heavily disguised with tape and stuff?! In it's disguise it looks similar to the new Audi S3 which has been pretty well received.

Either the Trade name Impreza or Legacy has to go from Subarus Portfollio
The New Legacy/Impreza will be the only Subaru Saloon car and will evently end up with WRX and Sti formats. They have to decide which name to kill off yet.
but the Car will be more in the Fast luxury rather than Rally Led Market.
The new Legacy will be slightly smaller than the old one. Apparantly the model being tested was a 6cyl Deisel and will be coming out with a 500Bhp version The poor mans RS6
IMHO

Why can't they keep both?
Surely they'll keep both, so to apeal to a wider customer base. Want a 4 door saloon/hatch? Buy the Impreza. Want a larger 4 door saloon, with more refinment? Buy the Legacy.
Think Subaru need to promote the Legay brand more. Up the build quality, up the engine specs, and try to take Mondeo/Vectra mans custom.

the legacy spec is way beyond that of any of your current rep mobiles.
the build quality in the latest legacy is top notch, granted, its not on a par with VAG, but its dam good.
I dont think subaru want to take on the mondeo / vectra type market IMO

Question is, have the frameless doors gone?
I believe that the Subaru production roadmap (that was posted on US forums and Subaru had pulled) showed Legacy and Impreza remaining seperate lines.

I think it looks pretty cool.
Considering it's going to have 2.5 L 300BHP+ and AWD don't get that sort of thing on MAzdas etc
Why do find interesting is that it is once more a radical departure from the current Hawkeye facelift which will severely impact the already terrible residuals for Hawkeye owners.....
Is it going to be available at the end of 2007 or early 2008??

Looks a little like the legacy estate or even the WRX wagon to me. Its a shame but it looks like they are going to lose the saloon design, i will be gutted if they do.
Cant one of you photoshop buffs do something to remove the tape and sticky out bits so we can get a better look at it?
