Default i/c splitter

lots of threads on this but i cant find one about fitting. Bought a secondhand one (tight git i know) and has no instructions. Held it up to car this morning and cant for the life of me see where it screws in/fits.

There is a black metal plate under the scoop that comes off (unscrews), then you screw the splitter to this, may need to drill it, depending on what screws you use.

From memory, as far forward as it goes so the edges of the splitter sit flush with the edges of the plate.
