My insurance runs out today on my Scoob, but I am just about to sell it.
Someone is coming to see it tomorrow so I tried to extend the policy by one day.
Catteralls point blank refused and said the shortest policy would be 3 months and would cost similar to a whole year.
I am gobsmacked that they can be so unhelpful.
Can anybody offer me some advice?

If you are buying another car, insure it and transfer the policy when you sell to your new vehicle.
If you are not getting another car, explain this to the buyer and see if they can get covered on your vehicle for the duration of the test drive.
Mercedes Benz do this when you get a courtesy car so it should not be too difficult.

Try A-Plan. With their policies through AXA (who I thought Catterall used) you could cancel after one month, and receive 11 months worth of the premium back.

Thanks all for your repsonses.
I have now been sorted out by Tom Butler at Schofield's who was very helpful.
He gave me a good quote on an EVO VI and my Scooby is covered in the meantime.
Cheers
