Default My Scoob's been nicked

Woken up this morning by two policeman shining a torch in our faces, 'Sorry to wake you but you have been burgled, should you have any cars on your drive?'

Gutted.

their prepared to stab me i hear u say, well, likewise im afraid, anyhoo, hope u get them back, this kind of thing makes my ***** boil !!!!!!

Hi,

Sorry to hear that dude,

I would agree, doubt I be able to hand over the keys without a fight, but in Ireland, I be arrested and the scambag would get a hand shake from the people and sent on his fookin way, to sue me at a later date.

Never come to Ireland in you what justice!!!

We always used to take our keys upstairs but decided it was safer not to, no way do I want my hubby stabbed for a car.

He only had the Evo for a few weeks after years of saving for it. Scoob had thousands spent on it over last 5 years.

I want to cry.

I agree but it could be a difficult call. First and foremost I wouldn't want anything horrible to happen to the wife or little one and if they got caught up in an altercation then I'd opt for whatever guaranteed their safety... but with them out of the equation, I have no regard for the personal well-being of anyone who should decide to break into my property and am prepared to defend it and myself.

I'd rather act in self-defence and inflict harm and be dragged into custody than to simply sit back and watch someone invade my home. Of course that's inflicting harm whilst acting in self-defence as opposed to just inflicting harm. I'd always strongly suggest to the perpetrator that they leave in haste first.

Jonts.

PS: Lydia, although an unpleasant experience I'm glad it wasn't any worse. Best wishes to you and your husband.

Sorry to hear about your disaster
Good thing though, leaving the keys downstairs. I always do that now. There not in an easy place to find though, but if anyone wanted them and they couldn't find them then the door to the bottom of my stairs is always bolted when I go to bed, so if they were that stupid and tried to get up stairs then they would make enough noise to wake the dead

And I will be waiting

And some thieving tosser thinks it's OK to come along and just take what isn't theirs

It's disgusting, when you think how some people wrok hard and save for one of these, like you said about your hubby, the ***** want stringing up

I hope you get them back in one piece and they catch whoever is responsible.

Glad neither of you were hurt too

Likewise my german shepard guards my keys , he is an exellent security upgrade ! also goes bananas when the car starts up so all the neighbours would know somethings going on.
Sounds like you need a big dog to help keep the thieving bas?!*ds away .
The law in this country is crap ! and i'm glad no harm has come to you from them. If they had law like in dubai they'd have no hands left to pick the keys up after stealing . To much time is spent on speeding and silly convictions ( money makers ) other then making these t**ts suffer for the crime and upset they have caused .
There thats my piece and I hope your cars are recovered ok

one advantage to living in modern block of flats, they might know which building i live in, but they would need to go through 10 flats before they find the keys!

none the less, its difficult to believe that some people are out there with no concern for society, think they can take what ever they want and screw anyone who gets in the way.

car thieves should have their nuts tied to a long lenght of rope attached to the back of the car they stole, then the owner can drive off as fast as possible, at the point where the slack is taken up, his car thieving days might not seem such a good idea.
