new managment required i think
Having just cancelled an order for a new STI with my local dealer because he could not get hold of a WR Blue one for me I proceeded to contact about 35 other uk dealers and all said the same thing. About 13 of these dealers said they too had customers who cancelled because they could not locate WR Blue units, but subaru are now selling the new 07 model without the fuel offer.
What I cant understand is the offer states any model before the end of september to qualify, yese I know it also says 06 models only but why when the only difference between 06 and 07 models is the have installed a new rear diff, installed new window buttons and ooh yes they have removed the ashtray and are asking £500 less than the 06 model. I run my own business and I cant understand this marketing policy.
what you say?

The point, which youre missing, is that the '06' stock is already here (by that I mean its specified, built and imported and now its superceded). The purpose of the offer is to clear the already imported '06' stock. People who jumped in soon enough may have secured WR Blue cars; people who come late have to take whats left if they want to benefit. IM are only interested in clearing stocks of obsolete '06' Imprezas and theyre offering an incentive for you to take them.....

I can see both views guys, but dont you think they should honour the fact that they still have a promotion still on for another month and people are cancelling orders because there are no blue units left.
In my books a sale is better than no sale.
Come on guys back me up here I've been dying to own a scooby for over a year now, just ask me wife
can i have one now........ what about now........well next week then......I'll let you buy as many shoes as you like.

1. explains why that thread about subaru losing sales right - most ppl are rampant for a blue one - i hardly ever see a blue one on the roads
2. Resale value - i reckon blue ones hold value just ever so slightly more than other colours as any consumer would instantly recognise it and if someone desparately wanted one they would get a blue one then (most likely)
3. you could get a cheaper blue import if you really want a blue one
4. offer clealry states that it only applies to 2006 model .. come on.. u saud u were a business man! Its like your bird walking into Dorothy Perkins and saying "oooh can i have that sexy little £15 top for £5 when it clearly has the offer section marked on a totally different stand with different stock i.e. the older out of fashion items", and then the till lady goes " no u cant - only items under offer". They dont have to honour anything!
"In my books a sale is better than no sale" - they r not your books im afraid - they r Subarus books and they dont have a blue 06 to sell you
why dont u just buy a blue 07 then mate

surely this thread should been called something like
"I want a blue 2006 model with free petrol"
your current thread title is vague ... New management required of what? Chicken Cottage?

hmmmm the way theyhave really screwed you though is.... wait for it... heres the rub....... i do not think you can use somebody elses fuel vouchers! So if you even bought a blue 06 from someone who had bought it during the offer... you would not be able to use that deal. .
correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure thats the line

i think they key point is yeah ... you couldnt get a blue 2006 from anyone who had taken the fuel vocuher deal you see because of the individual nature of the vouchers
Better still
did u ring every single Subaru delaer -- 35s not gud enuff mate -- your obviously not trying hard enuff
