Default Tracker

How much battery power does a tracker use, would it flatten it if the car was left unused for a week?

The RAC Tracker goes into stand by after 6 hours to stop it draining the battery. I know as i had one fitted to my o4 type 20, but it got nicked and RAC had no idea were it was. they told me, just recently thevies just ripped them out when nicking the car ??? Although its turned up today after 3 weeks recovered by recovery firm in Birmingham.

the battery isnt perfect now, 90% 5yrs old so maybe thats the problem, even though it seems cr@p that its draining so much power. Just dont think its right that you cant start the car after a week.
