I've about 9k's worth of points. Probably go for money off vouchers for one of the stores. I think they include: Argos, Next, Debenhams, Boots, Halfords and Kingfisher (B&Q, Woolworths & Comet)

Works out to about £60 worth of vouchers.

£100 = 100 points aka £1 = 1 point do 9k points = £9000 in fuel

however if you buy a certain amount each month you get bonus points then double points etc

I think i am missing out on something.
Can somebody explain the points system please.
I fill up and pay up and leave, no mention of points from behind the counter.
Nik.

I see Tidgy, my card hasn't arrived yet and I could only sign up for a regular shell reward card not a v-power one, how do you 'upgrade' ?

Hand over your Optimax (now V-Power) card to build your points up when you pay.

I normally just get Shell Vouchers with my points. Anyone ever been a Secret Shopper for extra points?

Yes the points get transfered automatically and the account number does not change but the other numbers on the card will be different

I keep using mine. Got a Ferrari Holdall bag, and a Ferrari waterproof jacket.

Got about 7000 points now, so might get the new Ferrari Fleece jacket and a case of Premuim Czech larger

Failing that, a Deluxe makeover - 6000 points

It seems to take a while for Shell to send out the card. I ordered mine a week ago and still not arrived

Other garages, e.g. BP, can usually give you a card over the counter.

When you buy a certain amount of optimax (now V-Power) in a quarter, you automatically get upgraded to the V-Power club instead of just pluspoints.

Can't remember what the threshold is for the upgrade though.

If anyone hasn't got a card and uses shell on a regular basis they have a recommend a friend, both get 750 points.

All they need is the email address and you need to fill up with 35 liters, 3 times in the first month.

I don't mind recommending you

Can someone explain this?

"To become a V-Power Club member you must first enrol as a Shell pluspoints member then, in one quarter (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sept, Oct-Dec), you must purchase at least 150 litres of Shell V-Power fuel plus at least 150 litres of any other Shell fuel in order to be upgraded to the V-Power Club."

I only fill up with V-Power!! How can I purchase "any other fuel"?

just to confirma few things,

fisrt off you need to sign up to the reward scheme to get the card

then you get upgraded to v-power card when you reach a certain use of fuel (which driving scoob you'll nail in about a week lol)
