S.E.C.S. vs standard gauges
Trying to decide between the SECS engine data monitor or a three gauge set-up showing oil temp, oil P and boost.
What do you guys think? And will the SECS be compatible with an Apexi when I get one fitted?

Do not think the SECS will be compatible with Apexi as the select monitor cannot read the apexi ecu and the SECS unit runs off the OBD port. I think you also need additional sensors for oil temp and pressure.
If you are going for the Power FC, i would say go for the gauges.

i've ended up puting both in mine - the gauges are great for quick referencing as they are easier to spot/read while driving.
The secs unit is good for peak readings and fault diagnostics - the best thing about it is it has a clock ( i lost the oe one to fit the gauges!)

cheers!
Think I'll go for the gauges as there is an HKS kit that'll fit in the single din area below the stereo. Any ideas where I could get it all fitted properly. I'm near peterborough but happy to travel to get it done well.

I fitted everything on mine except the senders for the oil temp and pressure as I found them difficult to get to. But after seeing them done I could now do it myself. Get the right tools for the job and it is fairly easy to do.
And once fitted they look
