Get the car on ramps, and wipe away any oil from the bottom of the engine, cam cover and oil filter.

Run the engine for 10-15 mins to warm the oil through.
Then look for runs/drips of oil.

I had the same problem.
It happened to be the crank drive oil seal. Oil was comming out the cam cover and riding down this pipe.

Its your lower oil cooler pipe, replaced mine a couple of months ago £20 but still was getting the odd puff of smoke from under the bonnet. Turned out to be the front crank seal.

Ive got the same problem. Been told by a couple of people that it should be ok for a while though
