So how long? - Brands to Home!!
#1
Had a great first track day today at Brands - good to see what everyone "really" gets up to in their Scooby's . Thanks to everyone who took a part in organising it, had a really great day.
But(!).....judging from the absolute chaos on British roads today (for some strange reason!) - I'm sure I wasn't the only person to get well and truly stuck trying to get home from Brands! M25 was a joke and it basically goes downhill from there! - my journey which should have taken 2/2.5 hours ended up taking nearly 5! Thank god I left at 3 and not at Rush hour!!!
So how about everyone else? Anyone even dare to attempt the M6?????
Kelvin.

Wasn't too bad - got held up on the M25 (there's a surpise at 6:30 on a Friday evening), but seeing as I only had to goto J7 it could have been a lot worse.
Just like to add my thanks to everyone who helped to organise the track day - really enjoyed it, nice to meet so many people and put faces to names! Special thanks to Puff and DocJoc for rides around the track - awesome guys Think I might need to get my car on the track next time.
Cheers

Yes I know - not sure I can make this one yet. I wouldn't mind it being a little dryer (and warmer!) though..

Left brands at 4:30. Got held up before Dartford crossing and on every road there after. Finally got home to St.Neots, Cambs four hours later. A journey that should have only taken 2 to 2.5hrs max.

I got home at 1.45am on Saturday morning (left the curry house in Harrietsham at 10.10pm). Got stuck in the fugging M25 roadworks on the otherside of the Dartford Tunnel (3 lanes down to 1 in 1/2 mile is not sensible!) and on the M6 (@ 1.15am!) almost insight of my junction.

Took us about 40 mins to get home, so that's not too bad. Luckliy we were going towards the cost on M25 so did not get stuck in the traffic heading up to the tunnel.
