value of a RA
Hi peeps,
I need your advise as I have a tricky decision to make.
I own a white 1995 WRX Sti RA - and its wonderful, bar the fact my bottom end has let go!!
This leaves me with a dilemma - DIY fix it, pay to get it sorted or sell it as is.
so a few questions...
1) what would you reckon a 90k mile RA in very good condition with a blown engine is worth?
2) What would be a rough guide to how much the parts are to a bottom end rebuild.
3) what would you do!?!?!
The problem is made worse by the fact I was selling the car as I have a new MINI Cooper S works GP due in mid September!!

Repair it . Wash it . Polish it . Have a good look and ask yourself do u want to swap this beast for a Mini. That s just my advice mate . Good luck with any decision u take.

Give David at www.apiengines.com a ring on monday about the engine.
With a dead engine it will be worth about1000 to 2000 max.
Even alive and well about £3K.
There are so many about now, even the rally boys have moved to the cheap bugeyes.
The Mini will be fab!

They seem to go for more than that more like 4-5k but then I am basing that on ebay!!
I'll give API a ring in the AM.
After braking a rs2k once I am never getting involved with forums and Ebay sales again for parts
