Road Radio - Rip Off ?
Just took the scoob to a local road radio. My brother in law gave me a smart panasonic stereo with a removable face, as i'm sick of the Jap Kenwood not letting me tune into radio stations.
Blokey said all in it was £55 ?
He reeled of a load of parts needed i take it for conversion purposes under his breath. Has anyone else had their stereo's changed and if so how much did you pay ?
I have tried myself but stumbled at the first hurdle of removing the old stereo

From your username I'm assuming its a classic 94, and being a JDM it's probably got a double din?
If all you want to do is tune into UK stations, buy an expander from ebay £8 all in).
If you wanna get rid of the double din and replace it, it's pretty simple.
Pull out the cup holder, this reveals 2 screws that need removing.
Also lift the gear gator (drivers side front) this reveals another screw that needs removing.
Now the facia can be extracted.
This reveals the screws that hold your stereo in with small brackets.
If your left with a hole (single din slot) you have the option of fitting a cd holder (from UK car) a pocket (£15 from Halfords) or mount oil temp, pressure and boost gauge there, it looks sweet.
Hope this helps.
