What does it all mean?
Bit of a highly uninteresting one this but how do you read a VIN plate on a classic? Whats the difference on the VIN between a UK turbo and a WRX import? And does it tell you anything else?

Japanese market cars have a short chassis number, prefixed GC8 / GF8: EU cars have a seventeen character VIN number. The build plate also identifies the vehicles paint code and the options selected.
