Default Hello there....

I am currently in the process of selling my Evo VI TME and have been looking at various alternatives that are cheaper.

I know I wont be able to replace my beloved car as I like it too much. But obviously the next car down is the Impreza.

Problem is, ive never been happy with the ones that ive driven....taken a few for a test drive, and they've left me feeling underwhelmed. I thought the brakes were pretty wooden in feel, and they didnt feel that quick, even the STi...

Am I looking at the wrong model? Or are they all a bit too soft and comfortable for my needs?

Its gonna end up as a track only car, which is something I dont wanna do to a car as nice as the TME, but I know I can pick up Subaru's pretty cheap so it wont really matter.

Just wondering which models you could recommend please

STi Type RA.

There's a good on-going article in Jap Performance (Project Pheonix i think it's called).

They are doing what you seem to want to do.

RA is definitely the one for the thrills and speed.
