Do a search or give Powerstation, TSL or someone similar a call and ask. You'll need a remap if full decat and it won't pass an MOT either.

You can remove everything except the front cat in the downpipe and still pass a MOT. Change OEM fit centre pipe too and it will be OK. Hayward & Scott and many others do the pipes and stuff.

Andy.

You don't need to change anything, but you'll definitely need a remap after fully decatting. You can get a Walbro pump for £80 (Mark @ Lateral P)

recomend a fuel pump, pannel filter/induction kit and full decat (up pipe, down pipe, centre section) for best results from remap.

personally would get one fo the following people to map it, pat herborn (who did mine and is a top bloke), bob rawle, pavlo or Andyf, there have been some very bad sounding happenings regarding certain mapping places.

It all depends what you want. On an 04 wrx for example ~270-280bhp should be obtainable with just a full decat, panel filter (green) and a remap. There is no need to change either fuel pump, injectors or reg at this level as the standard ones are more than adequate for a mapped TD04 (turbo). You may want to change the plastic 'y' pipe under intercooler, for the samco version, as you'll be running higher boost (or fit an sti intercooler with cast 'y' pipe for an extra safety margin with cooling ~£300 s/h).

But I know quite a few newage wrx owners who have had excellent results with just the decat/filter and remap.

Oh and you may want to fit a Knocklink and boost gauge if you like to keep an eye on things..

The last time mine went on the rollers (MY01 WRX) following its remap it made 265bhp and 256lb/ft torque. I currently have an H&S backbox and de-resonated cente pipe, with all cats still in. I changed the panel filter (HKS Hybrid) and also had a Walbro fuel pump fitted so I'm pretty happy with the remap results.

I've now bought a full decat system to go in 2 weeks time, (with some time on the Dyno) and it'll be interesting to see the gains over my existing post-remap figures. I'm hoping to get to around 280bhp and similar torque.
