pic of my oddball type ra rally slag ! chip wanted !!
she already is quick but when she came from japan , some nice chap had removed some of the uprated stuff , ie ecu,boost controller and something on the right hand side of the consol as there were power wires and screw holes. the reason that i know this is it now has a u8 ecu which is wron and it has an hks fcd fitted to the wiring loom. anyway i want an uprated suitable ecu as the car is full of goodies anyway, kyb adjustables, 3 inch exhaust, greddy fmic, greddy exh unit and gauge, greddy boost gauge, razo t/timer, razo ****,short shift/close ratio box, lamco oil temp gauge,lamco voly gauge etc etc. anyways, here she is !!!

god knows ! but the guys up here that have seen it say it was set up for drag ! it has an uprated clutch and it seems to scrub slightly on full lock like a drift diff. it launches and spins in the dry easily but the jap tyres are coming off as they are mince in the wet ! its a pity the jap guy who owned it mugged some of the fancy electronics !

i had it sold on ebay but the a**hole who bid and won has ignored emails and calls for two days. but i dont care as i didnt really want to sell it anyway, its just a pain on the motorway journeys (three a week) but on the back roads ots a total hoot !!

Id fit either a Z4 or a Z5. C1-Series (MY95) WRXs used the Z4, which is good for 260PS on SUL. The C1 WRX Type-RA used the Z5; again producing 260PS. As Im sure you know, the U8 is an A+B-Series WRX ECU (rated at 240PS); and it may have been the original ECU..... (the only car not listed on my ECU reference is the A/B-Series Type-RA).

My list states:- ECU
W9 - 1994 WRX RA 11.47psi
SB - 1993/1994 STi RA 13.64psi
and for the MY95->
Z4 - 1995/1996 WRX 12.7psi
Z5 - 1995/1996 WRX RA 12.7psi
have not got either though, sorry. car does look purposefull

yip ! i see that it doesnt have the correct ecu anymore so i will have to buy another 260ps one and then get a chip fitted to it ! 300hp should be plenty for this thing !

still looking for a chipped z5 ecu or the likes ! for a 94 type ra with fmic and td05 uprated clutch etc etc..........
