£15k brings into contention every secondhand Impreza out there I think??

The world is your oyster young man - just stay away from the Import Crap!!

And NEVER, EVER, get a TVR again!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??????

TVRs are, were, and are to be .. the biggest piles of ****e on 4 wheels, second only behind Lotus's!! ...................... oh, why do people do it????

grow up pete you troll. theres nothing more wrong with jdm scoobs than there is uk ones. people dont just buy them as they're quite cheap to buy, they have higher specs too. take your head for a **** and come back with constructive comments you fanny.

scoobydaz, whats it like as an experience driving a tvr, never had the pleasure? is it comfy, drift worthy etc? dont know much about them fella

sorry havent replied choclate been to ford fair good day out.the tvr cerbra is awsome mate no other word comes close to describing it,for a novice like myself needs to be bone dry and wheels pointing in a stright line before you stamp on the loud peddle or your in a whole heep of trouble, very loud loads a pops and bangs on over run,but and it is a big but for me repair bills runnung costs, servicing etc are to high and to offen.eg engine re build on mine now is going to be 5k,so thats why i am getting it repaired at austec and then selling it.

I guess we must all feel sorry for the poor Japanese, as their domestic market vehicles are so sub-standard when compared to UK spec vehicles.
My cocklink's just flashed a warning that the UbercockMeister PSL is in fine fettle once more... But where is DC Hunt???

Buy a mint JDM classic and use what you save for tuning/holidays/Optimax

You can have mine for £15k. Its a 2001 UK300 running 450bhp. The very recent £7k rebuild is still under warranty with API Engines.

That amount puts you in the middle of blobeye territory. (03 poss 04 STi). If you could scape a bit more, you should be able to get an 05, to get DCCD etc.

Me personally, i'd go for a JDM STi with £15k.

5k is an aweful lot - i really feel for you, was it the speed six by any chance

Give SFR engineering a call in Stockport and speak to Shane Fearns, he used to work on the official TVR race team, TBH he can coem across as a bit arrogant but he really knows his stuff - worth doing though if it can save you a grand.

No-one is born with the knowledge, so don't feel stupid. It's a japanese import, as scoobynut said. More power, better spec, and a rear window pisher. -- but you'll have to offset that against increased insurance premiums.

which in turn you have to offset against bigger smiles . Actually, with people like Keith Michaels around, insuring imports isn't such an issue any more... I guess the real worry is little/no service history, and has the car starred in Tokyo drift for real??!! Find a good clean example and there's much fun to be had.

Nice import Type R or P1.

STI8

3 Door or Saff Cossie.

Or just get out the scene and buy an S13 drift car
