Price depends on MY. 99/00 are usually the fragile ones and cost about £75 and 2 seconds to fit with a T20 secure torx bit.
The others are just as easy to change but cost mucho dinero
Sometimes the symptoms of a faulty meter are hunting ilde and poor fuel ecomony(always hard to tell in a scoob though)

Lots of people treat MY99/00 MAF's as service items and change them every year.
In my old MY99 Type R I had 2 go in 4 weeks without any indication
Think it was the Blitz SUS filter though, stuck original airbox with K&N panel, no more probs.
Just take this part no to a dealer and they'll sort one, 22794AA010 cp airflow.
You could also try to read for any fault codes , MAF fault 23.
