I'd rather go for a slash. On an electricity substation.

Mad - I go to a few GnR forums, then come back to scoobynet and there is a GnR thread!!!

I went to see them in Hammersmith in June, they were damn good. And have tickets for NEC.

Last time I saw them play live before Hammersmith was 14 years ago at Wembley!!

What is the line-up now? How many originals? A bit like driving a Caterham, goes just as well, probably better, but you still wished it said "Lotus" on the front! How did the guitarist play one of rocks great riffs - the opening of "Sweet child"

Axl
Brain (ex primus) - drums, but is at home because his wife just had a kid. Frankie filling in on drums for now.

Richard Fortus - Guitar
Robin Fink (ex NIN) - Guitar
Ron Thal - Guitar (only been with them for 3 months, great player)
Tommy Stinson (ex The Replacements) - Bass

Dizzy Reed - Keyboards
Chris Pitman (ex Tool) - Keyboards

Click on the link and go half way down to see Axl pimping around europe the last few weeks. What a life eh?

The band above rocks, Izzy makes an appearance at a few shows and was at Sheffield. New GnR songs were leaked in Feb, 4 of them - took a while to sink in but they are really excellent songs IMO.

I was interested to hear the opening and main guitar solo in Sweet Child and have to say I was not disappointed in the slightest. No difference at all.

Bloody fantastic performance all the way through made even better by the reaction of the crowd. Felt like I was 14 again when I first listened to Appetite lol
