Default 17" Speedline Turini on classic- rubbing

Have a set on my car with 215/40 tyres(Parada spec 2's) and they rub on the side wall on the rears. THe car has the prodrive handling pack and is lowered. Is this because the offest on turini's is 48 & not 53 or is it the choice of tyre as the sholders are very square and the rimprotector quite big!

Anyone else had this problem with 17's on a classic?

Should I have gone for 205's?

cheers Ade

Wrong Profile, You should have 35's on a Classic.
ET48 won't help, but you can get away with it on 35's
