brake upgrade
As title. i'm looking around to find a good set of disks and pads for around the £300/350 mark and was wondering if anyone could surgest a good brand and website/shop to get them from. would love to go for 6pots but at the prices ive seen it far too much. i've got 17inch wheels with standard calipers. the car is a my 99 uk turbo. any HELPFULL advice would be great.

Check this thread out and look at the EBC advert, you'll get a scoobynet discount.

fitted Redstuff pads and grooved and drilled discs to my Classic, great improvement over standard brakes.

Speak to Alyn (stockcar on here) at http://www.asperformance.com/
Lots of people have reported problems with EBC discs warping, and my own experience is that their pads wear very quickly. I much prefer Ferodo DS2000 (now DSPF) or DS2500 if you can handle the poor cold performance, although I haven't tried them yet. Worth fitting stainless braided lines too for another £45, and uprate the fluid to DOT5.1.
