Default Induction kit heatshield piccies pls

I have a 93wrx with an Apexi induction kit recently went for a rolling road everything was fine except the intake temp.
Now I know a lot of will say replace the kit with the standard airbox but i do like the kit and don't want to replace it.
So basically if anyone has pictures of any heatshield that they have either bought or made would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

I didnt, a friend of mine did, I just assisted (a little)

The material is just a piece of sheet alloy. Its actually quite thin but its extremely effective. The key to it is getting a nice tight seal around the pipe work, make sure its seperated from the where the radiator is and get a good seal when the bonnet closes.

To be honest, its wasnt that straight forward, bit of a PITA

Another option could be try to source yourself an APS type Cold Air Intake

That hole was it already on the car or did you have to drill it.
I already have a couple of holes where the lower heatshield (by the coilpacks) are.
Do you get any vibrations from the sheild?
(thanks for going out and getting the clearer photos)

The hole was already there.

Dont get any "zingin" if thats what you mean.

No probs.

Happy to help.

BTW, dont know whether you picked up on it or not, but its in 2 parts (where it curves round to meet the rad)
