Default 2 Years With My Wagon.

I can't believe that it's now 2 years since I got my Wagon.
It has been the most rewarding car that I have ever owned (and that's a lot, I'm 55 years old !!)
After going through years of large estates, people carriers, wallowing great 4x4's I have now settled down with my Wagon . I don't usually keep a car for more than a year so that is why I find it difficult to believe that I've had it 2 years.

It has been a workhorse for me and has done many long journeys without complaint.

this is before I bought it :-

1 year on ;-

2 years on :- and in need of a good cleaning !!

It's had only a few small faults, 2 tyres punctured, an alternator fault, a coil pack failure, a top hose leak and that's it.

Modifications include, gold wheels, Red Stuff pads, EBC drilled and grooved discs, green panel filter, front lip and a decat centre pipe with a TSL Tornado back box.
Recently found out that it has a TD05 turbo!!

It has an automatic gearbox which is exceptional to use, it's gear changes are spot on and in sports mode it changes up at 7000rpm. Its kickdown mode is spectacular and guaranteed to put the sh*ts up your passenger !!.

A plus side of owning a Scooby is being part of a special community, meeting up with fellow enthusiasts (nutters really) and taking part in organised charity events.

I could go on, and on about it, but at the end of the day it is a Scooby, enough said!.

Nice one Big-G you & your Wagon have mirrored me & mine in many ways.

I am into my 4th year with my 03 Wagon (the 4th Scooby I have owned),I am a similar age to you & share your sentiments regards the Scooby community & charity involvement.

Ive had my wagon 2 and a half years now and love her more than when I first bought her home in Jan 04 with 70,000 miles on the clock.
She has had some problems along the way but to be honest no more than you would expect from a '96 car which has now done 139,000 miles.
Im happy to see yours has given you the same amount of joy, and as you prove with your pictures they are so useful for awkward loads!

Geesh Big-G I thought mine looked loaded up when I had the PFF7s & Eibachs fitted & brought back my OE 17" wheels & OE springs.

Your MPV looks more like one of those Glacier trucks they have in Iceland.
