knocking

Default knocking

when driving slow speeds in my sti type r theres a knocking noice coming from my diffs...just wondering is this normal or if ye new what it could be???

What position is the diff in....???You can expect some noises if diff is locked ie on orange indicator....but open(in green)you shouldn,t be getting any knocking.

Might be worth checking fluid type/levels.

its fully in the green...how would u cheque levels

Ive got the same problem, and always keep my dif in the green, seems to knock when theres more weight on one wheel ( heavy cornering) but also when the steering lock is full or nearly full, any ideas!!!!!!!!!

can any one help...what kinda oil is best used in these diffs??

Hello mate, for years working on Scoobys I've always put 80w90 LSD oil in rear diffs & 75w90 in front gearbox/diff.
