I have a MY96 uk turbo which has a virtually standard exhaust system on except for the backbox which Im unsure of the make but gives a nice burble.
I am due to have a magnex centre pipe with no resonator fitted next week and was wondering if anyone knew what increase in noise and power i should expect?
I cant see it adding that much power, maybe a few bhp but Im hoping the noise goes up slightly

noise might go up a little,mine did,was more of a thump after center de-cat (02plated WRX)

The pipe was £55 so I suppose it will definitely be worth doing.
Anyone else just replaced the centre cat and have any comments?

Had the full Magnex Oval 6x4 and centre decat done on my old MY00 UK Turbo when I had it. First thing I noticed was the increased db in noise. But also how smoother the car was to drive from a standing start. With the cat centre it felt like you were driving against the wind.

Bit more noise, I noticed the power increase more though.

Im glad I bought it now then, cant wait to get it fitted.
