Default Just bought a Green panel filter......

Should I be able to tell the difference straight away?

Doesn't seem to be any difference in the response to the OEM filter.

Any help?

I fitted a JR Filter last week and had the same thoughts as you no differance, But i think the car might sort of re-map itself (something to do with the computer anyway) Because after 50 or so miles it was a noticable change a lot more low down torque, and you can feel the car being able to breathe.

TBH I don't think you'll notice a great difference from changing a filter alone.
An extra 2bhp is lost out on a car thats over 200+ anyway.

Totally agree with this, it almost sounds as tho its got a dump valve now, you can really feel the car breathing if that makes sense

As above, you'll not notice any significant gains from just a filter, other than a discreeet "woosh" sound when you lift off! Anything else is very likely to be a placebo effect.

Pop the resonator out of the wing, remove the ram-air scoop and seal all the gaps from the engine bay to the wing, and effect a seal around where the airbox meets the wing for cooler running, quicker spool-up and enhanced DV and induction sound. Takes about 30 minutes to do and costs nothing
